I don’t know about you but I am getting tired of getting tons of spam e-mails every day about so-called magic penis enlargement pills and creams. With some of these scammers they have moved beyond anonymous e-mails and we now have to watch or listen to these rip-off’s on TV shows and radio. What amazes me most is that these unethical advertisements must be making money, or they wouldn’t still be on the air week after week, month after month.
Personally, I can’t think of a better way to trick people than playing to the secret wish of countless men – to have a bigger penis? We know that men with bigger penises must be happier, more successful and have happier wives. Here’s a question for you – who will complain that his penis enlargement pill didn’t work? I would venture to say very few men because who wants or needs that kind of embarrassment.
So, let’s find out what the top ten penis enlargement myths are, so it is easier to spot the truth next time. Here we go!
1. All black men have a big penis! The notion that penis size varies according to race, for example, is false. What did your mama tell you – don’t judge a book by its cover! You may be disappointed with the results or pleasantly surprised.
2. Vacuum or penis pumps will enlarge your penis without side effects. Vacuum pumps swear to increase the size of your penis by forcing blood into the penile shaft through suction. This method may sound rational and easy to perform, but it can result in a loss of feeling, impotence and damaged blood vessels.
3. Some men think that drinking water can help enlarge the penis, which is not true. While other muscles in the body can grow in size with the help of extra oxygen and water delivered by supplements or pills, this is not the case with the penis.
4. A number of men believe penis enhancement can be achieved by hanging weights from the tip of the penis repeatedly over time. This is perhaps the oldest method of enhancement, but there is no scientific basis and any enlargement that was actually achieved happened over years. Hanging weights may increase the length of a flaccid penis over time, but they do not increase thickness. Weights can also result in stretch marks, lesions and decreased sensation in the penis.
5. One of the most common myths is about average penis size. Some studies claim the average penis size is just over four (4) inches, while others claim it hovers around seven (7) inches. Both of these are penis size myths. The truth is the normal penis size is about 5.7 inches when erect. The average erect penis is also about 3.7 inches.
6. Pills can enlarge the penis. There are several herbal products on the market such as Vimax Pills, VigRx, Prosolution Pills and many others. These pills are advertised with the claim that they can increase the size and girth of a penis, but in view of the anatomy it seems to be difficult to explain how it would actually work. To be fair, there are isolated reports that suggest that these herbal products work.
7. Surgery is the best way to increase penis size. There are two techniques that doctors can perform that do actually add size, but both are full of risks. For more length a doctor can cut the ligaments that attach the penis to the pelvic bone, and then move the penis outward. This gains a man about one inch, risks infection, and can leave the penis less stable because it’s no longer anchored. For more width, fat can be injected into the penis. Unfortunately, the fat does not stay put, and it can become lumpy.
8. Another widespread myth claims that a lack of sex over a long period of time would cause the penis or testicles to shrink. However, according to clinical studies, neither penis nor testicle size is in no way linked to the frequency of sex sessions or anything else of this kind.
9. If a man has big feet or hands, his penis must be large. Another all-time favorite is the myth linking penis size to that of another part of the body, usually the hands or feet. There is no scientific evidence that penis size is related to any part of the body.
10. Penis enlargement is impossible. This is simply not true. Through exercise, penis enlargement is possible. A professor recently gave a lecture on penis enlargement. The audience, a college level sexual education class, refused to believe that the penis can enlarge through “penile exercising.” You couldn’t really blame the class. Common knowledge is that men are stuck with the penis they’re born with even though this knowledge is all wrong.
If you are not certain about the effect that certain products will have on your penis size or sex life, then it’s best to ask a professional, preferably a doctor. This way you’ll find that many myths regarding the penis are just that: myths.
